2022 Dry Tokaji Furmint Basilicus

In the hot, drought-stricken 2022 vintage, we produced a single-parcel selection of Furmint from the Mestervölgy parcel in Tarcal. Thanks to our newly developed cooling technology, this wine was made in a new style - with a slightly higher residual sugar level that forms a beautiful balance with the vibrant acidity our leading grape variety managed to preserve even in such a challenging year. Fermentation took place in both new and used French and Hungarian oak barrels, where the wine was later stirred on the lees and aged for about six months before bottling
